Who we are

Avercena is a trading name of Surf Marketing Ltd, an independent business referral service. Surf Marketing Ltd is responsible for personal information it processes through Avercena. A privacy contact email will be added before public launch.

What the form collects

The assessment asks for your company name, name, work email, phone number and answers about your business, including its industry, history, location, team, tools, records and possible acquisition interest. Do not submit passwords, account access, customer records, sensitive personal information or copies of your operating files.

Permission to share your submitted details

By selecting the sharing-consent checkbox and submitting the form, you authorise Surf Marketing Ltd, trading as Avercena, to use your submitted contact and business details to assess your enquiry and share relevant details with the deal partners identified in that consent. Those partners may assess suitability, facilitate a potential licensing or acquisition deal, and contact you by email or phone about that enquiry.

The currently identified prospective recipient is Polyshares, Inc., a US data business. Other partners may include data buyers or deal facilitators, but a new organisation relying on your consent will be named and your agreement obtained before sharing with it. This is not unrestricted permission to sell your contact details, share them with unnamed recipients or send unrelated marketing.

What this permission does not cover

Submitting this form does not transfer ownership of your data, grant a data licence, authorise access to your business systems or permit disclosure of your underlying operating records. Any later transfer or licensing requires separate agreement, a review of rights and appropriate safeguards.

Purpose and legal basis

We rely on your consent for partner sharing and the related email or phone follow-up described above. You can choose not to submit. Accepting website terms alone is not a substitute for the specific sharing permission. Any additional processing and its lawful basis will be explained before it begins.

Storage of completed assessments

Before submission, answers remain in the page’s temporary memory. A completed form is saved in Avercena’s database with your answers, contact details, qualification route, consent wording and version, and the time of submission. Reloading does not remove an assessment already submitted. There is no automatic forwarding to Polyshares or another partner; a separate referral step is required. No marketing pixels or referral conversion events are active.

Providers and international transfers

Neon provides the database used to store completed assessments in its US East region. Hosting services may process technical requests to deliver the site, and Google Fonts receives requests when fonts load. The development service can store submissions, but has not been publicly launched. Applicable international-transfer arrangements, provider terms and retention settings must be finalised before accepting public enquiries. Any partner referral may involve a further transfer to the US or another country, which will be explained before sharing.

Retention, security and your choices

We will limit live referral access to people who need it and retain information only for the stated purpose and applicable record-keeping requirements. Database access is server-side; no public read or export endpoint is provided. A final retention schedule and working privacy contact channel remain to be completed before public launch.

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, or object to processing. You may withdraw sharing consent at any time; withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing. Contact details for exercising these rights will be supplied before public launch. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or your relevant supervisory authority. Partners acting as independent controllers are responsible for their own handling of your information.

Assessment results and changes

Answers determine an initial qualification route. This is not a valuation, offer or final buyer decision. Material changes to recipients or purposes will be explained before they apply, and further consent obtained where required.
